Tax rules and interest rates change

Income tax slabs, rebates, cess, and other rules change, often every financial year. Interest rates set by banks, NBFCs, and schemes like PPF or NPS also change over time. Each tax calculator states the financial year its rules are based on — always check that it matches the year relevant to you. Toolbeel Finance aims to update calculators promptly when rules change, but there may be a gap between an official change and its reflection on this site.

Accuracy of calculations

We build calculators using established, publicly documented financial formulas and, for tax calculators, published rules for the stated financial year. We do not invent formulas.
